Alexandra Rose - 500 RYT
“Yoga has been a part of my life in some way since 2001, when I signed up for a yoga class as my college PE elective—mainly to avoid taking running instead.” That small choice sparked a lifelong journey of body awareness, meditation, and deep self-discovery that Alexandra had no idea would one day become the heart of her career.
After more than 15 years of self-study with wellness at its core, Alexandra earned her Certification in Transformational Nutrition Coaching in 2017. Soon after, she felt called to dive more fully into yoga, a practice that had always quietly shaped her life. In 2018 she received her 200 RYT and began teaching, later completing her 500 RYT through Asheville Yoga Center in 2021.
With a strong interest in functional movement and supporting beginners in finding a safe, sustainable practice, Alexandra completed an additional 200-hour training in the LYT Yoga Method. This anatomy-based approach provided her with tools to help students feel comfortable, confident, and at ease in their bodies.
Now, Alexandra is expanding her path even further. She is currently in training to become a certified yoga therapist, marking the beginning of her career in therapeutic yoga. This next step allows her to integrate her knowledge of movement, anatomy, and mindfulness to help those managing pain, recovering from illness or injury, living with chronic conditions, or simply seeking a compassionate space to reconnect with themselves.
Beyond yoga, Alexandra enjoys reading, hiking, crafting, cooking, traveling, and pursuing continuing education.
“I am always available to discuss private yoga sessions, either in person or virtually. Let me help you find the peace at the center of your being through functional movement, therapeutic practices, and deep internal exploration.”
